TL;DR: Your Data Stays Yours

PrintPlay Studio offers both local processing for guests and cloud saving for registered users. If you use the app as a guest, your images and project data remain entirely on your device. For logged-in users, we securely store your projects and generated PDFs on our servers so you can access them across devices.

1. Information We Collect (For Logged-in Users)

If you choose to create an account to save your projects, we collect and securely store:

Account Data: Your email address and basic profile information.
Project Data: Uploaded images, custom card data, and text you enter to create your decks.
Generated Files: The final print-ready PDFs you generate, allowing you to access and reprint them anytime.

2. Information We Do Not Collect (Guest Users)

When you use our game generators without logging in, all operations—including image uploads and PDF generation—are processed locally within your web browser. We do not transmit or store these files on our servers.

3. Third-Party Services and Cookies

We use essential cookies (such as an authentication token) to keep you securely logged in. Additionally, we use Umami analytics—a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies or track personal data—to understand general site usage. For sending account-related emails (like login OTPs), we use MSG91.

4. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. If you choose to delete your PrintPlay Studio account, all of your associated data—including uploaded assets, saved projects, and generated PDFs—is permanently deleted from our servers.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data for registered users is stored securely on our servers. We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect your personal information and project data against unauthorized access. Like most standard websites, our hosting servers may also automatically record basic, non-personally identifiable requests (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for security and performance monitoring purposes.
